This year, Dr. Soltes is celebrating his 30th anniversary in the specialty practice of Orthodontics. Dr. Soltes graduated from Loyola Dental School in 1973. He then attended the graduate specialty program in Orthodontics at the University of Illinois receiving his orthodontic certification and license in 1975. Dr. Soltes opened his Hickory Hills office that same year, and has been providing quality orthodontic care for the past 30 years. In 1979, Dr. Soltes opened his second office at 6857 South Pulaski in Chicago.

Dr. Soltes is now treating many second-generation patients. Many parents who had been treated by Dr. Soltes as teenagers are now bringing their children to him for the same high-quality orthodontic care. This is one of the great rewards of the profession.

During the past 30 years, Dr. Soltes has seen many "high tech" advancements in treatment - including the transition from large silver bands to micro-mini brackets. Additionally, he also uses: a high-speed plasma bonding light, clear braces, invisible braces (behind the teeth), low force continuous wires, pendulum appliances, computer generated diagnosis and many other highly sophisticated, space age developments.
